_{The Role}

_{As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you’ll be the Conduit between the factory floor and our team — deploying our platform, solving high-stakes problems in real time, and helping manufacturers achieve full automation faster than ever before. You’ll work shoulder-to-shoulder with operators, engineers, and executives to turn their factories into fully connected, intelligent systems.}

_{What You’ll Do}

• _{Deploy the FactoryOS. Own the rollout of Conduit into production environments — integrating with robots, PLCs, sensors, and factory systems both in the cloud and on-prem.}
  
• _{Solve the hardest problems in manufacturing. Get hands-on with robots, debug network issues, and design solutions that blend hardware, software, and human workflows.}
  
• _{Build what’s missing. Write Python code and develop new features that close the gap between what our customers need and what the platform can do today.}
  
• _{Work on site. Travel to customer facilities to lead deployments, troubleshoot live systems, and collaborate directly with manufacturing teams.}
  
• _{Collaborate deeply. Partner with product, design, and backend teams to translate frontline insight into product evolution.}
  
• _{Be a trusted advisor. Guide manufacturers through automation challenges, architecture decisions, and the process of modernizing their entire operation.}
  

_{You Bring}

• _{Strong Python development skills and the ability to write production-quality code.}
  
• _{Excellent debugging instincts across networks, devices, and cloud/on-prem systems.}
  
• _{A builder’s mindset — fast learner, resourceful, and comfortable in uncertain environments.}
  
• _{Willingness and ability to travel to customer sites and work in hybrid environments.}
  

_{Bonus Points}

• _{Background in software, systems, or robotics engineering.}
  
• _{Hands-on experience with factory automation: PLCs, MES, IoT systems, Modbus, MQTT, or industrial robots.}
  
• _{Experience deploying large-scale distributed or real-time systems.}
